Should I use CelLytic™ Y Cell Lysis Reagent, Product C4482?

For all cases in which the addition of DTT does not interfere with the application tested, it is recommended to add DTT (5 - 10 mM final concentration) to the CelLytic Y reagent. Addition of DTT significantly improves total protein yield.
