It is a drug with selective and irreversible proton pump inhibition activity, widely used in the treatment of duodenal, gastric ulcers, reflux oesophagitis, and against other acid-related diseases.

Application

Omeprazole USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
  • Esomeprazole Magnesium
  • Esomeprazole Magnesium Delayed-Release Capsules
  • Esomeprazole Strontium
  • Omeprazole
  • Omeprazole Delayed-Release Capsules
