Ethylene-d4 glycol is a deuterated NMR solvent that is useful in NMR-based research and analyses.

Application

Ethylene-d4 glycol may be used as one of the starting material in the preparation of perdeuterated ethylenediaminetetraacetate tetraanion (EDTA-d124-) for use in the spectroscopic analysis of cadmium-EDTA complex.
