Anti-TSH2 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total TSH2 protein.
TSH2/TSHZ2 (teashirt zinc finger homeobox 2) is a nuclear protein. It has four zinc-finger (ZF) domains, a homeobox domain and a coiled-coil domain. It is located on human chromosome 20q13.2.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human TSH2.
Immunogen Range: 811-860
Biochem/physiol Actions
TSH2/TSHZ2 (teashirt zinc finger homeobox 2) acts as a C-terminal binding protein (CtBP)-dependent transcriptional repressor. At the time of mammary tumorigenesis, low level expression of TSH2 liberates GLI1 (glioma-associated oncogene homolog 1) from the nuclear repressor complex to update its transcriptional activity.
