General description

Sodium perborate tetrahydrate is a hydrated sodium salt. It participates in various oxidation reactions of anilines and sulfides.

Application

Sodium perborate tetrahydrate may be employed for the following studies:
  • Transformation of iodoarenes to (diacetoxyiodo)arenes.
  • Oxidation of Π-deficient azines to afford N-oxides.
  • Oxidation of sulfur containing heterocyclic compounds to afford S,S-dioxides.
  • Microwave-assisted oxidative hydration of various aromatic and aliphatic nitriles.
