Guard columns for the Astec Chirobiotic columns are available in 1 mm (11101AST) and 4 mm (11100AST) IDs. For the 10 mm ID Astec columns,it is recommend using the 4 mm ID guard. Although it is only a 4 mm guard column, it may need to adjust the flow rate and monitor backpressure. This solution is the best option as 10 mm guard is longer available.
