General description

HLA-C, also known as HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, Cw-1 alpha chain, also known as MHC class I antigen Cw*1, and encoded by the gene HLA-C/HLAC. It contains an alpha and beta (beta-2-microglobulin) chain and interacts with the human herpesvirus 8 MIR1 protein.

The previously assigned protein identifier P30499 has been merged into P10321. Full details can be found on the UniProt database.

Immunogen

Purified tamarin MHC class I molecules corresponding to human HLA-C.

Application

Anti-HLA-C Antibody, clone DT9 is an antibody against HLA-C for use in flow cytometry & IP.
