Description générale

Anti-GAB2 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total GAB2 protein.
GAB2 (GRB2 associated binding protein 2), a mammalian homolog of GAB1 is a member of the family of insulin receptor substrate 1-like multi-substrate proteins. It is located on human chromosome 11q14.

Immunogène

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Gab2.

GAB2 (GRB2 associated binding protein 2) plays a major role in proliferation, survival and differentiation. It induces the multiplication of cells by initiating the extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma.
