Application

Peptidyl-L-lysine (-L-arginine) hydrolase

Utiliser la carboxypeptidase B pour l'analyse de la séquence des protéines par clivage successif des acides aminés basiques de l'extrémité C-terminale des protéines.

Biochem/physiol Actions

La carboxypeptidase B est une métalloprotéase à Zn²⁺ catalysant l'hydrolyse des acides aminés basiques L-Lys et L-Arg de la position C-terminale dans les polypeptides.
