General description

Quintozene is a pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) fungicide that is primarily used to control “snow mold” on golf courses.

Application

Quintozene may be used as an internal standard for the determination of endocrine disrupter compounds (EDCs) in fish using modified QuEChERS and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry in tandem (GC–MS/MS).
