General description

NDGR3 is a member of the N-myc down-regulated gene (NDGR) family which includes NDGR1-4. NDGR3 is ubiquitously expressed but is abundant in the brain, testis, prostate, and ovary. The precise role of NDGR3 has not been elucidated; however, previous studies have suggested that NDGR3 may play a role in spermatogenesis in mice, and aberrant expression of NDGR3 may lead to the proliferation of prostate cancer cells. NDGR3-mediated tumor growth may be due to upregulation of various angiogenic chemokines such as chemokine ligands 1, 3, and 5, which promote angiogenesis in tumors.

Specificity

This antibody recognizes NDRG3 phosphorylated at (Ser331).

Immunogen

Epitope: Phosphorylated (Ser331)
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to mouse NDRG3 phosphorylated at (Ser331).

Application

Detect phospho-NDRG3 (Ser331) using this Anti-phospho-NDRG3 (Ser331) Antibody validated for use in Western Blotting.
