R Ninci et al.
Journal of chromatography, 381(2), 315-322 (1986-09-05)
A gas chromatographic method using nitrogen-selective detection for the quantitative determination of nanogram amounts of chlorimipramine, chlorpromazine and their nor1 and nor2 derivatives in plasma is described. Derivatization with trifluoroacetic anhydride of nor1 and nor2 metabolites allowed the chromatographic separation

Bollettino della Societa italiana di biologia sperimentale, 60(9), 1757-1763 (1984-09-30)
Nanogram amounts of chlorimipramine, chlorpromazine and their Nor1- and Nor2-metabolites were detected in plasma by GLC with nitrogen-sensitive detection. Two extraction procedures were compared. The use of Sep Pak C18 cartridges produced a higher degree of accuracy and precision with

In the presence of Ca2+ norchlorpromazine isothiocyanate forms a monocovalent complex with calmodulin: CAPP1-calmodulin (Newton et al, 1983). Trypsin digestion of [3H]CAPP1-calmodulin yields as the major radioactive peptide N epsilon-CAPP-Lys-Met-Lys, corresponding to residues 75-77 of calmodulin. Stoichiometric amounts of all

Although no differences in membrane stabilization by calcium were noted between leukemic (P-388) and normal murine leukocytes, tumor cells were shown to be more resistant to damage by ethanol but not by desmethylchlorpromazine. Furthermore, verapamil protected tumor cells but not

Plasma nor1-chlorpromazine (nor1-CPZ) and chlorpromazine concentrations were measured by gas chromatography--mass fragmentometry in 15 inpatients receiving stable doses of chlorpromazine. Nor1-CPZ concentrations averaged 20% of chlorpromazine concentrations and were highly correlated with them. Relative concentrations of nor1-CPZ increased with age.
