Gene Information

human ... COPZ1(22818)

General description

Anti-COPZ1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total COPZ1 protein.

COPZ1 (coatomer protein complex ζ1) codes for a subunit of coatomer protein complex 1 (COPI). It is a secretory vesicle coat protein. It is located on human chromosome 12q13.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human COPZ1.

Immunogen Range: 11-60

Application

Anti-COPZ1, N-Terminal antibody has been used in immunohistochemistry , immunofluorescence and western blotting.

Biochem/physiol Actions

COPZ1 (coatomer protein complex ζ1) participates in intracellular traffic and autophagy, and endosome maturation. Suppression of COPZ1 promotes apoptosis in proliferating and nondividing tumor cells.
