A simple, efficient matrix solid phase dispersive extraction (MSPD) method was optimised to analyse simultaneously polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polychlorobiphenyls (PCBs) from sediments, and was compared to microwave-assisted extraction (MAE).
