Immunoglobulins (Ig) are produced by the B cells and play crucial role in host humoral immune response. A typical immunoglobulin consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. The two light chains are either κ or the λ chain. The B cells express one type of light chain during their life time.
Lambda (λ) light chain comprises an amino-terminal variable region and carboxy-terminal constant region. λ chain is biologically critical and constitutes up to 30 to 40% of human immunoglobulin (Ig) molecules. The human λ locus is mapped to the chromosome location 22.
Application
Anti-Human Lambda Light Chain (Bound and Free) antibody has been used in surface plasmon resonance assay.[1]
Anti-Human Lambda Light Chain (bound and free) antibody produced in goat has been used in indirect enzyme linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA).
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative
Storage and Stability
For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, solution may be frozen inworking aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is notrecommended. Storage in "frost-free" freezers is notrecommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify by centrifugation before use.

TL1A is an attractive therapeutic target for the treatment of mucosal inflammation associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and asthma. Blockade of the TL1A pathway has been shown to reduce inflammatory responses while leaving baseline immunity intact, and to be
Marburg virus disease (MVD) is a lethal viral haemorrhagic fever caused by Marburg virus (MARV) with a case fatality rate as high as 88%. There is currently no vaccine or antiviral therapy approved for MVD. Due to high variation among
The detection of monoclonal free light chains (FLCs) is an important diagnostic aid for a variety of monoclonal gammopathies and is especially important in light-chain diseases, such as light-chain myeloma, primary systemic amyloidosis, and light-chain-deposition disease. These diseases are more
