Immunogen Sequence: GI # 23397678, sequence 61-275
Recombinant signal transducer and activator of transcription 6
Application
Anti-STAT6 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
STAT6 is a human gene and is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. It is mapped to human chromosome band 12q13. STAT6 has the same functional domain for both receptor coupling and dimerization. It is highly expressed in comparison with the other STAT proteins. STAT-6 silencing results in the reduction of HeLa cell programmed death and the expression of several important key factors related to programmed cell death. It is a highly sensitive and specific marker of solitary fibrous tumor (SFT). It can also be helpful in distinguishing tumor type from histologic mimics.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Based on the fact that the transcription of STAT-1 plus its Serine 727 and Tyrosine 701 phosphorylation is not the pre-requisite for the cell death signal transduction in the IFN-γ signaling pathway induced by co-immobilized IFN-γ/TNF-α, we investigate both in

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is composed of spindled to ovoid cells in a patternless architecture with prominent stromal collagen and hemangiopericytoma-like vessels. Some tumors show hypercellularity, nuclear atypia, and significant mitotic activity; the latter feature in particular often portends an

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is an uncommon fibroblastic neoplasm. Although histologic characteristics and frequent CD34 expression allow for an accurate diagnosis in the majority of SFT cases, a wide histologic spectrum and an occasional unexpected immunophenotype may pose diagnostic challenges.

Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is an immunomodulatory cytokine secreted by activated T lymphocytes, basophils, and mast cells. It plays an important role in modulating the balance of T helper (Th) cell subsets, favoring expansion of the Th2 lineage relative to Th1. Imbalance
