Recognizes Somatostatin Receptor Type 5 (SSTR5, SS5R).
The immunogen sequence is identical in mouse and 12 of 14 amino acids identical in human.

Immunogen

Purified peptide from the N-terminus of rat Somatostatin Receptor Type 5 (Accession number P30938).

Application

This Anti-Somatostatin Receptor Type 5 Antibody is validated for use in WB for the detection of Somatostatin Receptor Type 5.
Western blot: 1:200 using ECL on rat brain lysate.
Dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1-3%).

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Physical form

Format: Purified
Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA, and 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. Reconstitute with 200 μL of sterile deionized water. Centrifuge antibody preparation before use (10,000 xg for 5 min).
