General description
20 turns. Semilogarithmic flow control in the first 97% of travel. Includes Viton® O-ring for high vacuum (10-6 mm Hg). Order PTFE O-rings separately for greater chemical resistance (vacuum to 10-2 mm Hg).
Attain extremely precise, reproducible flow control of both liquids and gases. Valves have a precision-bore Pyrex® glass capillary tube, PTFE rod and stem, and Viton® O-ring. Achieve semilogarithmic flow control in the first 97% of travel with micrometer valve; 70% with metering valve.
Micrometer valve includes Viton O-rings for 10-6 mm Hg vacuums and PTFE O-rings for 10-2 mm Hg vacuums. Simple-design metering valve works with high vacuums.
Quick-opening metering valve allows fast opening and closing with a small degree of flow regulation. All valves withstand maximum pressures of 30 psi and maximum temperatures of 250 °F (121°C).
