Application

For best results, agitate for 20 minutes prior to use. Spin coat as-is at 500 RPM for 9 seconds followed by 1500 RPM for 15 seconds. Photocurable inks can be formulated by adding acrylate monomers and photoinitiators (i.e.DMPA) to the nitromethane dispersion. The solvent must be evaporated prior to crosslinking. Functional compounds can be coupled to the oligomer via reactions at the methacrylate group.
Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), tetramethacrylate end-capped solution (PEDOT-TMA) can be used as a hole injection layer (HIL) which can be used in optoelectronic applications such as light emitting diodes (LEDs), biosensors, and energy storage devices.
Suitable for spin coating applications.
Used for depositing thin films of conducting EDOT oligomers for sensors, antistatic layers, organic solar cells and flexible electronics.

Features and Benefits

End-capped structure renders the conducting oligomer PEDOT dispersible. The methacrylate groups offer the potential for crosslinking, or additional chemical functionalization. Nitromethane has a suitable volatility for spin coating applications.

Caution

Store this product at room temperature (do not refrigerate or freeze). Some settling will normally occur. Agitate, sonicate, and filter prior to use. A plug of glass wool in a pipette can be used for easy filtration. The shelf life of this product will vary depending on how it is stored and handled. Product should be discarded if heavy aggregation occurs, or if sonication / filtering are inadequate to produce a good casting solution.
