General description

TSKgel Ether-5PW resin is the highest hydrophilicity of the five HIC ligands offered by Tosoh Bioscience. It is useful for the separation of very hydrophobic molecules such as membrane proteins.  It is typically used for high performance chromatography and polishing steps. It has the same selectivity as the larger particle Toyopearl Ether-650 products. It often is used instead of cross-linked dextrans with exclusion limits of 10,000 MW.
