Biochem/physiol Actions

Mirtazapine is a noradrenergic and specific serotonergic antidepressant (NaSSA). Mirtazapine agonizes selective adrenergic and serotonergic receptors so that both NE release and 5-HT_1A mediated serotonergic signaling are increased.
