Biochem/physiol Actions

Candesartancilexetil ist die Prodrug-Form des potenten Angiotensin II-Rezeptorantagonisten Candesartan. Das Prodrug wird durch Esterasen im Darm gespaltet, um das aktive Molekül freizusetzen.

Candesartancilexetil ist ein Nicht-Peptid-Angiotensin(AT2)-Rezeptorantagonist.
