BC8-15 has the ability to block PDE8A (phosphodiesterase 8A) and PDE4A (phosphodiesterase 4A) with IC50 values of 280 and 220 nM. It helps to increase the synthesis of the steroid from both primary Leydig cells and MA-10 cells.[1]

BC8-15 is a potent PDE4/8 inhibitor that elevates steroidogenesis in mouse Leydig cells.
