Metaxalone may be used in cell signaling studies.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Metaxalone is a muscle relaxant. The mechanism of action of metaxalone in humans is not fully understood. It was suggested that it acts through general central nervous system depression.
Metaxalone is effective to relieve pain due to acute skeletal muscle pain caused due to musculoskeletal conditions and sprains.[1][2]
