Mouse ACE ELISA Kit has been used to quantify total serum concentration of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) in spontaneously hypertensive rats.[1]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) catalyzes the formation of angiotensin II from angiotensin I. ACE is a key aminopeptidase of the renin-angiotensin system. It is a membrane-bound enzyme which is expressed in atherosclerotic lesions.[2][3]
