Application

Das Salzhydrat [des-Gly10, D-Ala6]-LH-RH-Ethylamidacetat wird verwendet:

• als Agonist des luteinisierenden Hormon-Releasing-Hormons (LHRH) zur Synchronisierung einer Kohorte weiblicher Ratten
• zur Synchronisierung von Ratten mit natürlichem Zyklus
• zur Auslösung des Eisprungs als Gonadotropin-Releasing-Hormon (GnRH)-Analogon und als Ergänzungsmittel in Galap-Streckmittel zur Verdünnung von geeignetem Ejakulat

Biochem/physiol Actions

Hochwirksamer LH-RH-Agonist in Ratten und Mäusen; reversible Verzögerung der sexuellen Reifung bei Ratten und Stimulation des Laichgeschehens bei Fischen. GnRH (Gonadotropin-Releasing-Hormon, Glp-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH2), auch bezeichnet als LHRH (luteinisierendes Hormon-Releasing-Hormon) oder Gonadorelin bezeichnet, spielt eine wichtige Rolle bei der Fortpflanzung von Säugetieren und wird von den hypothalamischen Neuronen freigesetzt. Es ist für die Sekretion von Gonadotropinen, luteinisierendem Hormon (LH) und Follikel-stimulierendem Hormon (FSH) von der Hypophyse verantwortlich. GnRH-Mutationen werden mit normosmischem kongenitalen hypogonadotropen Hypogonadismus in Verbindung gebracht.
