Biochem/physiol Actions

1-Stearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (LPC, Lyso-PC) is used in the development of drug transdermal delivery devices such as liposomes and micelles.[1] It inhibits histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3) activity and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) phosphorylation and exhibits anticancer activity in chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) K562 cells.[2]
