General description
Der IgG-Antikörper-Subtyp ist das am reichlichsten vorhandene Serumimmunglobulin des Immunsystems. Er wird von B-Zellen sezerniert, ist in Blut und extrazellulären Flüssigkeiten zu finden und bietet Schutz vor Infektionen durch Bakterien, Pilze und Viren. Maternales IgG wird durch die Plazenta zum Fötus übertragen und ist für die Immunabwehr des Neugeborenen gegen Infektionen unerlässlich. Das rekombinante IgG4, κ-Protein wird durch Expression einer Phagen-Bibliothek in eine humane Zelllinie erzeugt und wird mittels Affinitätschromatographie aufgereinigt.
Application
Aufgereinigtes IgG4, κ kann als Immunglobulin-Kalibrator, Referenzantigen, Blockierungsmittel oder Beschichtungsprotein in vielen verschiedenen Immunassays wie u. a. ELISA, Dot-Blot-Immunblots, Western-Immunblots, Immundiffusion, Immunelektrophorese, Hämagglutination und Zellbindungstests verwendet werden.

Lösung in 0,01 M phosphatgepufferter Kochsalzlösung, pH 7,4.
Analysis Note
Die Reinheit und Identität werden durch Immunelektrophorese, indirekte ELISA und SDS-PAGE bestimmt.
