Biochem/physiol Actions

A spontaneous TK- mutant of mastocytoma P815.X2, resistant to BUdR. BUdR is necessary in the growth media to avoid revertants.

Mouse DBA/2 mastocytoma

Preparation Note

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 100ug/ml Bromo-deoxy Uridine (BUdR) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 8% CO₂; 37°C.
