Immunogen

T blasts from a mixed lymphocyte reaction between purified CD4+ T cells and irradiated spleens

Biochem/physiol Actions

Mouse NS0/1 x Mouse BALB/c spleen

The antibody is directed against the rat IL-2 receptor found on T cell blasts and thymic dendritic cells. The OX-39 antigen has a molecular weight of 45-50kDa.

Preparation Note

RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)

Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO₂; 37°C.
