Cholinchlorid ist ein quartäres Ammoniumsalz und assoziiert mit Wasserstoffbrückendonoren (HBD). Es ist wichtig für die wesentlichen physiologischen Funktionen und ist eines der ernährungsphysiologischen Zusatzstoffe. Cholin ist eine Quelle von Methyl-Gruppen für Methyl-Transferreaktionen.

Cholin-Acetyltransferase-Substrat

Application

Cholinchlorid wird verwendet:

als Komponente für Cholinacetyltransferase-Puffer (ChAT-Puffer) und für die Cholinaufnahme in kultivierten menschlichen Neuroblastomzellen (SK-N-SH)
zur Erstellung einer Cholin-Standardkurve zur Quantifizierung der Phospholipase D (PLD)-Aktivität
als Komponente in einer für Schnittpräparate hergestellten Lösung zur Sezierung von entorhinal-hippocampalen Hirnschnittpräparaten

Choline chloride will be melted in water for addition to the medium. Can you please tell me the proper storage method, such as -30°C freezing ay -4°C refrigeration?

  This product is soluble in water at 50 mg/mL. The storage and stability conditions for this product upon reconstitution have not been determined.

Hi, is it possible to thaw choline chloride in PBS instead of water and add it to the medium?

  This product is soluble in water, tested at 50 mg/mL. Solubility in PBS has not been determined in-house. Literature suggests that choline chloride can be prepared with PBS.
