Fibroblastenwachstumsmedium 3 (gebrauchsfertig)
Application
PromoCell Fibroblastenwachstumsmedium 3 wurde für die In-vitro-Kultivierung von humanen kardialen Fibroblasten (Human Cardiac Fibroblasts, HCF) aus dem Herz von Erwachsenen entwickelt. Das Medium ist für primäre menschliche Zellen optimiert, kann aber auch für kardiale Fibroblasten des Schweins genutzt werden.Empfohlen für:Humane kardiale Fibroblasten (HCF)
Preparation Note
Das Basalmedium im Dunklen bei 4 bis 8 °C und den SupplementMix oder das SupplementPack unmittelbar nach dem Eingang bei -20 °C lagern. Das Basalmedium nicht einfrieren. Bei sachgemäßer Lagerung sind die Produkte bis zu dem auf dem Etikett angegebenen Verfallsdatum stabil. Nach Zugabe der Supplemente zum Basalmedium ist das Komplettmedium bei 4 bis 8 °C bis zu 6 Wochen haltbar. Das Komplettmedium nicht einfrieren. Für die Anwendung nur ein Aliquot des Komplettmediums vorwärmen und die verbleibende Menge weiterhin bei 4 bis 8 °C gekühlt lagern.Hinweis: Der SupplementMix und das SupplementPack werden aufgetaut geliefert und können ohne Aktivitätsverlust nach dem Eingang eingefroren werden.
Endgültige Supplement-Konzentrationen nach dem Hinzufügen zum Basalmedium:Fetales Kälberserum: 0,1 ml/mlBasischer Fibroblasten-Wachstumsfaktor (rekombinant vom Menschen): 1 ng/ml Insulin: 5 µg/ml

Alle Chargen PromoCell Fibroblastenwachstumsmedium 3 werden umfassenden Qualitätskontrolltests unter Verwendung von primären humanen kardialen Fibroblasten unterzogen. Jede Charge wird auf wachstumsfördernde Aktivität, Anhaftungsrate und die typische Morphologie der getesteten Fibroblasten untersucht. Genehmigte Inhouse-Medienchargen dienen als Referenz. Außerdem werden alle Medienchargen auf die Abwesenheit mikrobieller Verunreinigungen (Pilze, Bakterien, Mykoplasma) getestet.

I will be using cardiac fibroblasts and aside from normal growth media (full amount of Serum) I have to serum starve the cells before my experiments. What media can I purchase where I can only change the amount of serum, not other supplements?

This product does contain serum in the formulation. A pre-formulated supplement is included with the medium that contains serum, bFGF, and insulin. The supplement, as well as any additional serum, may be added or withheld at the end user's discretion. Product 116F-500, an alternative fibroblast growth medium that does not contain serum that may be suitable for serum-starved experimental conditions, may also be of interest.
