Application

Heparin-Biotin wird in der Transfektionsforschung zur Entwicklung von selbstorganisierenden Triplexen, wie Polyamidoamin-Dendrimere und DNA (PAMAM/DNA)-Heparin-Biotin-Triplexen, für den zielgerichteten Gentransfer mit optimierter Transfektion eingesetzt. Die Triplexe können zur Immobilisierung von Proteinen wie Lactoferrin und Lysozym und Nukleinsäuren verwendet werden.[1][2]

    1. The quality specification for product B9806 is that the molecular weight is approximately 15000 Daltons. This is only an approximation and no specific screening has been performed for other chain lengths. The source of the heparin is from porcine intestinal mucosa. The biotinylation method is considered proprietary.
