• Zur Vermittlung der Aza-Michael-Addition von Stickstoff-Nukleophilen zu α,β-ungesättigten Carbonylverbindungen.
• Als nukleophiler Katalysator für die Veresterung von Carbonsäure mit Dimethylcarbonat.[1]
• Als zweizähniger Ligand in der von Kupfer(I)-bromid vermittelten Atomtransfer-Radikalpolymerisation von Methylmethacrylat.
• Als effizienter Katalysator für die Umesterung von Dimethylcarbonat mit Glycerin.
