General description

BDNF, EPO, FGF-21, Irisin, Myostatin, and other included analytes are key myokines—signaling proteins released by muscle tissue that influence metabolism, inflammation, regeneration, and systemic physiological responses. These biomarkers are essential for studying muscle-endocrine interactions, exercise physiology, metabolic regulation, and inflammatory signaling in rodent models

Application

MILLIPLEX^® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 12 analytes in rat serum, plasma, or cell culture supernatants.

Note: Substantial amounts of BDNF are stored in circulating platelets and subsequently released upon platelet activation. Therefore, platelet-poor plasma is critical to ensure accurate measurement of circulating levels of BDNF.
