Beschreibung

General description

RSK1, RSK2, RSK3, and RSK4 (ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 90 kDa, polypeptide 1,2,3, and 4; S6K-alpha 1,2,3, and 4) are Ser/Thr kinases which are activated by MAP Kinases. Ribosomal S6-kinase 4 (RSK4) is thought to be mapped in the critical region that is commonly deleted in X-linked deafness type 3, mental retardation, and choroideremia. It may be involved in normal neuronal development. RSK4 is also thought to play a role in non-growth factor signaling and may also be important in tumor suppression.

Application

Immunoprecipitation analysis: 10 ug of Cat. No. ABS521, Anti-RSK4 was used to immunoprecipitate RSK4 in 0.5 mg PC12 or EGF treated PC12 cell lysate
Immunoprecipitation analysis: 5 ug of Cat. No. ABS521, Anti-RSK4 was used to immunoprecipitate RSK4 in 0.665mg of PC12 cell lysate. Uncharacterized bands may be detected at high antibody concentration or longer exposures
