Beschreibung

General description

Caspase-1 (ICE, Interleukin-1b-konvertierendes Enzym) ist die Säuger-Caspase, die für die proteolytische Konvertierung der Vorformen von Interleukin-1b und IL-18 in aktive Zytokine verantwortlich ist. Wie andere Caspasen wird Caspase-1 selbst als Proenzym synthetisiert, das bei seiner Aktivierung in große (20 kDa) und kleine (10 kDa) Untereinheiten gespalten wird.

Application

Dieser Anti-Caspase-1-Antikörper ist zur Verwendung in IF, IP und WB für den Nachweis von Caspase-1 validiert.

Western Blot: 1–4 μg/ml

Immunpräzipitation: 4–8 μg/ml

Immunfluoreszenz: 10–20 μg/ml

Optimale Arbeitsverdünnungen müssen vom Endanwender bestimmt werden.

Biochem/physiol Actions

AB1871 erkennt Procaspase-1 mit 45 kDa wie auch die gespaltene Caspase-1 mit 20 kDa.

Physical form

Affinitätsgereinigtes Immunglobulin. Flüssig in PBS, pH-Wert 7,2 mit 50 % Glyzerin, 1 % BSA und 0,02 % Natriumazid.
