Beschreibung

General description

A cell-permeable quinoline compound that acts a potent ATP-competitive inhibitor of ALK5/TGF-β Receptor I kinase activity (IC₅₀ = 0.63 µM), while inhibiting c-Src only at higher concentrations (IC₅₀ = 13 µM). Shown to block TGF-β-induced Smad2 phosphorylation and Smad2/3 transcription activity (IC₅₀ = 0.5 and 0.37 µM, respectively) in human lung cancer epithelial cell line A549.
