Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable Chinolinylthiazolinon-Verbindung, die als potenter und ATP-kompetitiver Inhibitor von Cdk1 dient (K_i = 35 nmol/l und 110 nmol/l für Cdk1/B1 bzw. Cdk1/A). Sie beeinflusst Cdk2/E, PKCδ und SGK nur bei deutlich höheren Konzentrationen (K_i = 340, 318 bzw. 497 nmol/l) und zeigt wenig Wirkung gegen Cdk4/D und sechs weitere häufig untersuchte Kinasen (K_i = 2 mol/l). Eine kurzzeitige Behandlung für bis zu 20 Stunden führt zu einem vollständig reversiblen Zellzyklusarrest bei G2/M, während eine längere Behandlung (>48 Stunden) zum apoptotischen Zelltod in proliferierenden Krebszellen, jedoch nicht in nichttumorigenen Epithelzelllinien führt. Die feste Form dieser Verbindung (Katalognr. 217699) ist auch erhältlich.
