Description

General description

Peroxy orange 1 (PO1) is a H₂O₂-specific fluorescent probe. PO1 probe is non-trappable and highly permeable in nature.

Application

Peroxy orange 1 (PO1) has been used to detect H₂O₂ in RtSS (root to shoot silencing) and wild-type Columbia and in rci3-1 and rci3-2 mutants.

Biochem/physiol Actions

PO-1 is a cell-permeable fluorescent H₂O₂ sensor.

PO-1 is a cell-permeable fluorescent sensor that is highly selective for detecting the presence of H₂O₂ in living cells.
