What would be the ideal buffer to dissolve the poly(C) in for ideal long-term storage?
1 answer-
The solubility of this product is tested in water at approximately 20 mg/mL. The solubility has not been tested in a buffer solution. However, the Polyuridylic acid potassium salt, P9528, offers a datasheet that notes the material may not be completely soluble in Tris buffer at 1 mg/mL.

What is the size range? How many nucleotides per molecule?
1 answer-
Unfortunately, the particle size range and nucleotides number are not tested as per the COA of P4903: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/certificates/sapfs/PROD/sap/certificate_pdfs/COFA/Q14/P4903-100MG0000303636.pdf
There is a reference value for degree of polymerization (DP) available to roughly estimate the nucleotides number, which is ~485. The value could vary lot by lot.Helpful?
