Description

Application

Sodium phosphate dibasic solution has been used:

• to supplement Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) in calcifying medium to induce the calcification of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs)
• to prepare a stock solution of CaCl₂ and MgCl₂ to synthesize calcium phosphate (CPB) and magnesium phosphate bions (MPBs) respectively
• to supplement 2xYT agar plates to culture BL21 DE3 star cells and BL21dLac Gold cells

Sodium phosphate dibasic solution may be used in the preparation of a wide variety of phosphate based biological buffers for use in cell and molecular biology application.
