Description

General description

Cellvento^® 4CHO-C Cloning Medium supports CHOZN^® and CHO cell line development and has been developed to replace hydrolysate containing EX-CELL^® CHO Cloning Medium (C6366) at comparable performance. It provides chemically defined media solutions for the entire process from cell line development to production scale.

Application

Developed to meet the needs of the biotechnolgy industry, this medium is designed for single cell cloning, stable pool selection and recovery of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell lines adapted to suspension culture.

Preparation Note

Aspectically add 10 mL of 200 mM L-glutamine solution per 500 mL of medium prior to use (if applicable).

Other Notes

L-glutamine: no

The formulation is designed without hydrolysates or components of unknown composition. It contains hypoxanthine and thymidine (HT) but for more selcection flexibility, it does not contain L-glutamine, Methionine sulfoximine (MSC), or Methotrexate (MTX).
