How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Does this product come pre-activated? I.e. is it ready to use upon arrival

Yes, Product 1.05704 is a pre-activated or pre-dried and ready-to-use material. The typical water content (reported as a loss on combustion on the lot-specific certificate of analysis) is about 1 percent, versus a water capacity of about 20 percent. Having said that, if there is a need to remove the trace amount of water present, these molecular sieves can be heated to 300–350 °C.
