A lip seal is lip or ring that is molded into the top of the cap. It fits against the interior wall of the tube or bottle preventing the contents from coming in contact with the seal or threads, thereby reducing the chances of sample contamination. General description
The classic laboratory bottle GL threaded screw cap features the tried and tested cap plug sealing system ensuring a liquid tight seal. Available in four colours; blue, green, yellow and grey with matching pouring rings. Distinguishing media types is simplified and interchanging of screw caps and the risk of cross contamination is greatly reduced.

It says caps with lip seal - is this the rings that go around the top of the bottle to make pouring easier? We ordered these caps and they did not come with those
