Bis-(2-chloroisopropyl) ether is a colorless liquid, used as a solvent for greases, waxes and fats. It can also find applications in manufacturing of textiles, spotting agents and cleaning solutions.

Application

Bis-(2-chloroisopropyl) ether may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in water by solid-phase microextraction and sewage sludge by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
