BODIPY TR-X NHS Ester is a versatile, amine-sensitive red fluorescent labeling reagent useful to tag antibodies, proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids. BODIPY TR dyes, also called boron-dipyrromethene tetramethylrhodamine, are known for their exceptional photophysical properties, including high fluorescence quality and photostability, with wide spectral tuning. BODIPY TR has a narrow absorption range (~ 500-550 nm) and a broader emission range (~ 580-640 nm) for multi-color cell labeling. BODIPY TR-X offers an extended excited-state lifetime for fluorescence polarization assays and significant two-photon excitation capability.
