FOXF1 is a transcription factor that is induced upon p53-dependent DNA damage. Studies have reported that this transcription factor may act as a p53 target. FOXF1 may also regulate the invasion and migration of cancer cells. Rabbit Anti-FOXF1 recognizes canine, human, mouse, and chicken FOXF1.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human FOXF1
Application
Rabbit Anti-FOXF1 (AB2) antibody can be used for western blotting assays at a concentration of 2.5μg/ml. It can also be used for IHC at 4-8μg/ml, using paraffin-embedded tissues.
Biochem/physiol Actions
This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which is characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in the regulation of pulmonary genes as well as embryonic development.
Sequence
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: PCNPAANPLSGSLSTHSLEQPYLHQNSHNAPAELQGIPRYHSQSPSMCDR
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
