General description

Ataxia telangiectasia group D-complementing (ATDC) protein, also known as tripartite motif containing protein 29 (TRIM29), belongs to the TRIM protein family. Studies have shown that ATDC may act as a transcriptional regulatory factor involved in carcinogenesis and/or differentiation. The ATDC gene is located at 11q23 where loss of heterozygosity has been observed in many kinds of cancers; underexpression of ATDC has been reported in breast and prostate cancer. ATDC may also complement the radiosensitivity defect of ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
~66 kDa observed

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to a region within amino acides 565 to 595 of human ATDC .

Application

Anti-ATDC Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody for detection of ATDC also known as Ataxia telangiectasia group D-associated protein & has been validated in WB & IP.
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: A representative lot was used by an independent laboratory in IP. (Yuan, Z., et al. (2010). J Biol Chem. 285(50):39329-39338.)
