Ribosomal protein L35 (RPL35) gene codes for a ribosomal protein, a constituent of the 60S subunit. It is located on human chromosome 9q33.3. Anti-RPL35 antibody detects endogenous levels of total RPL35 protein.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human RPL35.
Immunogen Range: 51-100
Application
Anti-RPL35 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in immunofluorescence.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Ribosomal protein L35 (RPL35) protein modulates methionine (Met)-mediated β-casein (CSN2) translational elongation and secretion. Lack of RPL35A can enhance apoptosis in hematopoietic cell lines and bone marrow cells. RPL35 gene is regarded as one of the most reliable reference genes to study gene expression in developing cacao embryos.

The proteasome is a major proteolytic machine that regulates cellular proteostasis through selective degradation of ubiquitylated proteins1,2. A number of ubiquitin-related molecules have recently been found to be involved in the regulation of biomolecular condensates or membraneless organelles, which arise
